Everyone is forgetting ONE major thing! On the Raw after Mania, Rock held Cody’s championship and said it looks good on him. I feel like there’s a HUGE possibility Rock uses Cena and when he’s done with him, screws him out of the Title to eventually become champion.
Now who beats him for that title would be interesting cuz Roman could, Cena could on his last ever match returning as a babyface…or you could end the Rock vs Cody saga with Mania 42 main event being Rock vs Cody for the WWE Championship!!

I'll get some shit for making this comparison, but Cena's eventual "career-deathbed redemption" at the end of this year (he HAS to retire as a babyface) should be identical to the Sting/Hulk Hogan/Immortal feud from TNA in 2011, where they do the Return Of The Jedi ending after his final match, where Luke Codelander has to convince Darth Cena to turn good again to help him destroy Emperor Johnsontine and his evil Empire...

Cena wins at Mania. Holds onto the title and wins his "last" match taking the belt with him. He never mentions his retirement the entire year. After he "retires" HHH has a new belt created and announces that it will be on the line in the Rumble match. Before the winner (preferably Orton, Rhodes, or Punk) receives the belt Cena blasts him with his own. He announces either on Raw or Smackdown that he is STILL champion and that for that to change someone needs to beat him for the title. He feuds with the Rumble winner until Wrestlemania. He comes close multiple times to winning that match but can't quite end it so he resorts to heel tactics but he looks at the front row where he sees a kid (or several) wearing a Cena t-shirt. He hesitates giving his opponent a chance to roll him up for a pin attempt. He kicks out but looks back at the kid(s). He takes his opponent's finisher and loses the match. The next night on Raw he comes out to "My Time is Now" (I assume he'll get new heel music). He starts to apologize for his year long reign of terror but then stops, pulls out his chain, turns his hat backwards, and does a freestyle to finish his apology finishing with "This time I mean it. Tonight the last time is now." He then leaves to "Basic Thuganomics". after he gets back stage he waits a couple seconds but then pokes his head out to do "You can't see me." He then rides off into the sunset.
