1986 commercial for Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages featuring the brand's founder, country singer Jimmy Dean - who started the brand as a separate company in 1969 but was phased out of any decision-making role after the company was bought by Sara Lee in 1984 (Dean was largely retired as spokesman by 2002; though for a time Tyson Foods - which had acquired what was by now Hillshire Brands in 2014 {Hillshire Brands having been what the Sara Lee Corporation renamed itself in 2012 following the international coffee and tea divisions being spun off} - ran a handful of commercials featuring archived audio of Jimmy Dean {who had passed away in 2010; shortly before his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame})
