Queensland longhorn cattle breeders are proving not everything is bigger in Texas | ABC Australia

An enterprising couple have bred Australia the largest herd of full-blooded Texas Longhorn cattle in Australia.

And the beasts and their horns have to be seen to be believed.

But be careful! Landline's Lucy Cooper reports.

What a great story, I’ve never thought about Texas Longhorns being in Australia before. It’s a credit to these (ranchers) that they are breeding a world class herd. Also bringing other bovine species to their (ranch) is truly amazing! 👍🏼👍🏼

The village I grew up in, Lowton St Mary's Lancashire UK, one f the two butchers shops (Binhalls?) had a giant pair of horns on display.

Great story! Wish I could go to Australia and visit such a wonderful place!
