I got a Fantom 06 this past June. So far I really like it. I could have gotten a Fantom 6 or 7, but they are more than I need. Anyways, I wonder if Roland will have an "EX" upgrade to them? They did with the RD-88. I have one of those, too. But I haven't upgraded mine yet.

I have a Fantom 8 EX with every available model and ACB yet I can not make it sound like when Doctor Mix plays his. I don’t get it🤷🏻‍♂️

I have owned the Fantom 7 ( now Fantom 7 EX) since 2020 and the only issue I have really found are those damn filter and resonance knobs. Why didn't they use endless encoders! As it is, if you change patches and turn the knobs, the setting will jump to the knob setting abruptly... so no clean filter sweeps unless you plan ahead very carefully.

Finally!! So this is where they're spending all the time and budget. They didnt do this much with the new Juno D. I'm glad they put this much effort into the fantom to keep it relevant, because the competition is pretty strong out there with yamaha and the new arturias and the moog.
