Bernoulli's Principle states that a moving fluid exerts less pressure on its surroundings than a static fluid. Watch as this ping pong ball gets held in place by a fast-moving stream of water rather than be thrown away. So, the ping pong ball is held in the stream by the difference in pressure.

The ball is being held to the side by the Coanda effect. Bernoulli's principle only applies to an invisicid fluid along a streamline. The two sides of the ball belong to different flow fields.
