Keeping in mind a few months have passed since Sonic and Tails stopped Shadow, Sonic has not had another incident with his dark transformation, and Tails' research into the emeralds has turned up nothing. Everyone is starting to adjust back to their lives before Shadow threatened everyone. We find Tails with Amy and Cream at the mall (Cheese wasn't feeling too well) and life goes on, but it changes once more with a sudden appearance of Metal Sonic and Silver. History repeats itself as in the case of Dark Sonic vs Super Tails.

Huge thanks to shadow759 for all that he taught me in SFM as well as providing the black bars overlay. Prior to him stepping in, this video was not going to turn out like it is today (remember the scrapped footage?)

God I remember when this first came out I as only 15 years old and was really in love the sonic fandom but sadly as time moved on I became distant from the fandom and moved on to other things.. I'm 22 now and recently started getting back into sonic stuff so seeing this masterpiece animation really brings me back to the old days and fills me with A lot of nostalgia and happiness (Thank you Mike for all the wonderful times and memories you made with your videos) <3

Thank God there's content creators like you Mark, who gives Tails justice. If this were Tails from Forces, Tails would run away yelling for Sonic and leave Amy and Cream with Silver.

Seeing Tails get beat up like that made my heart cry. But at least in this animation he was brave, and determined, instead of relying on Sonic.

Let me just say, this has to be the best animation i have ever seen. I'm glad you didnt make Tails into a punching bag, like everyone else who does sonic related things...and that includes He actually held his own without needing help. Im looking forward to seeing more from you. And now i have go through your vids and watch more of these.

Sonic Team should definitely make a game like this. Imagine modern Sonic-like speeds but in the sky. With the camera behind your back like at 0:42 and stellar controls it could be a hit. It could have Ratchet and Clank style missions. The style of gameplay focused on different uses of machinery could be revolutionary. Since Tails is an inventor he could use material obtained from defeated robots and elements/gems to invent tools/weapons on the spot. This is incredible!
