Kathryn Joosten didn't begin acting until she was 42. But she managed to play several memorable characters. Desperate Housewives wouldn't have been the same without her.

Kathryn Joosten passed away from lung cancer on June 2, 2012, 23 days after the finale of Desperate Housewives.

I love how candid Lynette was with Karen about dying at home. Their relationship really bloomed

I hope Lynette and Karen get a special scene between the two of them before Karen passes away. They started off as worst enemies on the lane in the first season and have since become so close! Even though the other gals have gotten involved with Karen before, Lynette's always been closer to her than anyone! I hope they get a special moment between just the two of them!

actually there is u_u it's a two-hour season finale, so that means that there will be 2 episode together. They even got two different titles.
