Just a warning, you can only eat the pulp when ripe. No skin, seeds, rind, or anything else. I love foraging on hikes, but make sure you always have an experienced forager with you.

I think pollination is a game of chance sometimes in that pollinators will randomly stop on plants to see if there's anything of interest, and what do you know, they actually pollinated the plant. So the more plants they stop on, the more likely they are to find one that makes them happy.
