shows nothing but insecurities at highest levels. Being critical and being personal is two different aspects which clearly Gavaskar and Manjarekar do not understand. With the amount of praise that like of Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly and Laxaman got with what they contributed to Indian cricket even after retirement is diminishing the whatever little the oldies did in their time. Just before the candle is about to go off it flickers the most, same is the case here.

Manjrekar is a piece of crap is no secret but has gavaskar gone mad. Agreed he was a gem of a player but he sounds absolutely arrogant and foolish at the same time when making a statement like this. By his logic then a bowler can never be head coach, a fairly below average player can be a great mentor or coach, there are tons of examples out there. Sure GG overboard sometimes with his straight up attitude but this time i don't he said something wrong. And these so called ex cricketers should respect the position GG is holding if not the person. Really shameful mr gavaskar, didn't expect this childish statement from him.
