The 12v batteries on my rig only lasted 2 years, replaced the with 6v from Costco. Great deal with solar panels, haven’t had a problem since

Yup, I been running the 6 volt set up for a couple years now and they are hooked up to my solar. Works great. Oh by the way your new intro is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯

Look at the Battle Born Battery Company in Reno. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.

Instead of doing that time consuming extensive mixing fuel process, why not just buy 100 low lead av gas at small airport? My 2 stroke racing jet ski runs it premixed. It’s a little more expensive depending on the airport you go to but it would take the hassle out of your fueling process, lol. Just an idea.

6 volt batteries and Solar to keep them topped off, you will love it.

I'm with you that I spend most of my time outside and don't need much power. I installed a Victron battery monitor in my trailer and it has really taught me alot about battery charging. Believe it or not, the converter/charger when running the generator is not very efficient, especially at the last stage of topping off your batteries. I bought a Zamp portable solar charger. I turn it toward the east when I go to bed, and before I get up in the morning, my batteries have fully recovered from running the heater overnight. The Zamp solar charges my system 5 times faster than the onboard converter.

Do you guys ever camp with the sxsblog boys I heard they’re on their way there right now?

The batteries that come in trailers from the factory are junk just like the tires. 6 volts from Costco are a great upgrade and at a reasonable cost.

To solve your battery problem you need to invest in a lithium ion battery and a solar charging system. I run 1 ea. Battle born 100 amp hour battery, 2 ea. 210 watt solar panels, 1 ea. 1500 watt inverter and a 40 amp MPPT charge controller and can hang in Glamis for as long as I want without having to run the generator at all. The key is you have to get away from lead acid batteries as you destroy them every time you discharge them below 50%. Lithium can discharge to zero and be fine. They also charge way faster. 6v golf cart batteries are not the answer as they are still lead acid.
