He’s really elevated the band this year. No shade to Jay as he’s amazing as well but this just seems to be a better fit and that’s fine for everyone. The band recognizes the energy he brings.

Man, he want a frigging deathcore on those drums! I wouldn't be surprised if those drums would catch on fire. I mean, do you hear it? He is beating the crap out of them so much that I can feel those drums through my headphones down to my toes. No wonder Slipknot sound so crispy.
