Terraria max movement speed is insane... Character movement speed. After looking at a bunch of other Terraria max class setups such as knockback, crit chance and damage, its about time we took a look at maximum movement speed! As you'd expect, this ones a little crazy, giving the player a way to travel across their map at ridiculous speeds! If you haven't already, why not give it a try? Enjoy!

For anyone wondering, he's moving a bit faster than one-third of the speed of sound. For comparison, F1 record is 230mph, and the fastest car in the world is 330mph.

What you should’ve done is asphalt till max speed and then the slime blocks that have no friction, then you could switch out your accessories to combat without losing speed, and then looped it with teleporters. Giving you higher damage

The magiluminescence is by far one of if not my favorite movement accessory. Top speed is never my issue with movement, its acceleration. Having that boost to it to be able to have those slippery fluid feeling strafes is key to good movement.

Sockrteez you shouldhave talked about a shield of cthulhu forgotten feature, that if you use its dash and have a high enought acceleration, you can run even faster, and you will have the shield's i-frames.

With mods like Dragon Ball Calamity, if you kill the celestial pillars while in Ultra Instinct and absorb the god ki, the speed boosts it gives propels you to flight speeds of 3000+ mph. Literally uncontrollable, you're able to fly across your entire world in ~1 second

A couple of these accessories, a chain gun, chlorophyte bullets, asphalt, and hallowed armor is my go-to for killing daytime EOL. I usually craft a ranger hallowed helm then sell it to use the summon helm with the terraprisma after Daytime EOL is defeated. Speed absolutely has a place in almost every playthrough, at least if you like the terraprisma.

So 1. Get a jousting lance 2. Recreate this whole scenario and 3. See how far max speed jousting can carry you through the game (you basically become a missile but replace the warhead with a giant knife)

I may be wrong, but I thought there was some type of interference when you have multiple boots on. If I remember correctly, having both amphibian boots and terraspark boots could “worsen” your speed if the amphibian boots are worn above the terraspark boots on your accessory slots. Either way, amazing video

I was about to question the addition of the Swiftness Potion, as I could have swore it didn't stack with the Hermes Boots line of accessories... but I guess this fact is made mute by the Asphalt, which apparently enables their stacking (something that I was unaware of).
