They could've made the screen corners square, but I'd chalk it up to them having just rounded LCD panels in their inventory. And I am not surprised if it's still running on that shitty MT6580. To further dissuade people from buying these things, the software gets worse over time as what I can attest, surreptitiously installing shady APKs without you knowing, sometimes even in the system partition!
