Queen’s first show of the Japanese Opera tour and second visit overall. Luckily, for the Japanese crowd, Freddie sounds great even with only ten days of rest. The rest of the band are doing solid expect for Brian. I have no clue what happened but he’s messing up all over the place. Perhaps nerves or just general exhaustion, but he messes up quite a lot and makes for quite a sloppy show, musically. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some golden moments from Brian. Brighton Rock features (as usual) a great solo and there’s some creative playing in Doing Alright. This show was taped by the infamous Mr. Peach, so it’s in fantastic quality.
