I have gone to Waratah flexabel as my wire of choice, we are on flood plain with 1.5ha cell grazing paddocks, electrified 2 wire fences internally, a few sections are “sacrificial “ during flood events, I use trampoline springs on these sections as the more flexibility I have during floods the better, hence medium tensile wire as well.
I like the videos Tim even though I think I’m fairly proficient at fencing I pick up a lot of different tips from your channel, also you speak like a normal bloke with no bull crap ❤

Thanks Tim and very interesting. I'm wondering what to use in a short run of 60 metres. I have been told that straining a short run is harder to do and I should instead use those little rachet devices for each line. What are your thoughts? Many thanks.

So much easier on my ageing, arthritic hands, and with a small acreage and electric fencing high tensile is unnecessary.
