Good review Hifimidi. This video has swayed me into getting the Yin Yang. Keep up the excellent reviews, it's much appreciated.

Make sure to all update your Ample Sound bass to version 2.5 and take advantage of the new Riffer option.

On amplesounds website they mention some alternate tunings as low as B. It'd be awesome if you could do a further analysis of some of the features like that because lets be honest, this is one of amplesounds best plugins I believe because of the amount of creative sounds that are possible. I'm currently writing a progressive metal/rock album and I think this bass would work stunningly with what I'm trying to achieve musically. But im curious what the lower tunings would sound like running through something like amplitube.

Have you tried with distortion? Wondering how it sounds in metal... yes is not the most appropiate, but I liked his sound... have you tested with hi gain bass amps????

This sounds so clean. Which Ample Sound Bass would you recommend for Pop and R&B music?

Dude watched all your videos, love em. Have you heard of any decent celtic/irish/gypsy virtual instruments?

Thanks for the demo & review of Ample Sound YinYang Bass. I would like to know if I can use this YinYang Bass for Pop, EDM songs (Christian songs) (on sale for $45). Should I have to buy Ample sound P or J bass instead of Pop, EDM songs?

You mentioned you connected the smaller midi keyboard to control the articulations. How did you do that?

Love the sounds, but even with a seasonal discount these are still very expensive. Great demo!

I was hoping to enlist someone's assistance regarding the Yinyang Bass II. For the life of me I can't get any fret noise or articulations when playing midi notes straight from a midi keyboard. Everything sounds piano-ish. It doesn't matter if I'm in standalone mode or within my DAW. I can pluck strings with the mouse on the virtual bass and use the PC keyboard function and all sounds fine. I set the timing as stated in the manual for a track, I've tried loading and reloading Yinyang, midi drivers, etc., but to no avail. I use Sonar Platinum, Komplete Kontrol S49, and Axiom 25. Please help as I really want to start using this plugin. Just bought it a week or so ago. - Thank You

This was a great demo. I found the intonation way way way out, sorry. Either the bass sample or the backing track must have a selection for tempered tuning that was on or off and they didn't match up at all. I hope I'm right.
