You dont need a macbook, or anything, just a basic keyboard, mouse, monitor, pc and install the program you need like html.

Seriously, people take these things WAY too seriously, I'm learning to code on a Phone using SamsungDeX, if i can code on a Phone with DeX then you can code on a crappy laptop or PC as well, if anything it'll make you more resource efficient because the lack of resources at your disposal. Don't make excuses, start learning now or you won't make it tomorrow.

They will make your programming easier. Specially the wide screen. It's way better than any other option, specially if you're always working with 3 or 4 files at the same time.

Could never go without a full size keyboard and IMO having multiple monitors is more useful than one big one.
