Step 2: Realize that you're a furry

Step 3: Call yourself one.

All the steps past that aren't required. You don't even need a fursona or anything (though I believe that's step 5 or something lmao)

I would like to add that Simba (and the other characters in The Lion King) is also anthropomorphic, even though he walks on all fours and doesn't wear clothes and such. He's considered "feral anthropomorphic."
