EPIC Motorcycle Ride, Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau. 4K.

I rented a motorcycle in Ho Chi MInh City and decided to ride to Vung Tau beach one afternoon. Plan was to get to beach in time for sunset. Thinking it would only take a few short hours but instead I ran into some unexpected hurdles and the ride turned into a unexpected but memorable journey. It felt like it was my own personal episode of "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle." Once I decide I was going to the beach nothing was going to prevent from dipping my feet in that ocean. I pushed through the tiredness, pain, hunger, pollution, and confusing traffic laws to finally reach my destination. Throw in some hardcore looking motorcycle police to spice things up and you finish with one of my best adventures yet. I hope you enjoy.

How much did you pay to rent the cb500x? I’ll head back over later this year and was wondering whether I should get a scooter or a bigger bike which I’m more used to here in Australia

Your first mistake was choosing a "big" bike to travel Vietnam. There's a reason why everyone is using smallish 125/150cc bikes. Easy to maneuver in traffic, small roads etc.
