I've just started crying when you said you feel like you're failing because of the fatigue that's exactly how I feel.

I have lived my whole life with chronic fatigue, since a teenager. I have only recently been diagnosed with adhd and autism. I had to give up work over a year ago. My life has been work then crash, push then fail, promise then let down, constant burn outs and mental breakdowns. I feel exhausted and alone. I relate so much to the ‘pushing yourself’ on a good day, knowing your going to suffer for days after. Thank you for taking your precious time out to inform others going through this constant cycle they are not alone.

CFS is terrible, the sleepiness overrides my desires to do anything productive. Exercise seems like an impossible task. Sleep and caffeine don't seem to help much and is frustrating as hell.

Hi. I’ve just been diagnosed with me/cfs. I’m finding it so hard to adapt.

Telling people that I need to stop and take time out has stirred up a storm with some areas and people.

Explaining just feels like I’m justifying and that no one believes me.

The part where you say you don’t tell people and push on through with a smile had me in tears. That is how I feel. I don’t want people to think I’m weak or incapable.
I know I’m not, after all I raised three children single handed, held down challenging jobs, did college courses and get free from and abusive marriage.

With all that, I try and tell myself that I need to be kinder to me.
However I am struggling. Crashes are hell and painful and it’s difficult to get people to understand that I just can’t push through if I’m running on empty.

Thank you for this video. Nice to see that others are out there and I’m not alone.
Thank you x

I feel like I’m trapped and dying. So many tests have been done on me but no one can find an answer. I feel like Im drowning. I go to sleep but wake up just as exhausted

I'm a 70 yr old male. Been dealing with this since the eighties. I went to Dr Anthony Komaroff in Boston for a long time back then not much was understood about it and many Dr's didn't believe it was real. I think some still don't. I'm thankful to you and your help and advise. I keep hoping to learn more. It's hard to stay positive. Thank

I have vestibular migraines and this gave me chronic fatigue. It took a good 2 years to learn to walk properly again and if I overdo it I am bedridden. The early days my partner would leave food by my bed and go to work as I could not make it to the kitchen. I was also dizzy 24/7 for a year plus. Although my symptoms and more stable now, if I overdo it I crash again!! Thanks much for this video! I will share it in my FB VM group x x x

Casual warning at 2 mins for sudden rise in hearing would be helpful :)

Am no Christian however listening to the audio Bible from start Genesis to end Revelations while taking a stimulant dramatically changed my fatigue from laying on my stomach all day to watching a movie to the end, still overcoming this affliction but now I'm hanging in there, prayers for your recovery amen

My situation is perhaps different. I suffer from severe fatigue due to mitochondrial dysfunction...been living in hell since 2014. I used to be so active, hiking, tennis, etc...this god dam thing has taken the wind out of my sails. I do all the recommend things, still, I don’t seem to get more energetic. The fact I’m past 70 isn’t helping:-((I’d love to hear from someone who suffers the same thing. Thanks!

My life was before severe /ME and after. Ambitious, sporty, perfectionist& driven. Was famous for juggling 100 balls at same time. On top of the world . After emergency c-section With a baby ended up in wheelchair! Yes it is all in your head, you have depression etc after 3 year of different diagnosis like MS etc told me you have FM/ME. I cried atleast knew am not crazy. I know now that I burnt myself & my body out. I lost my career as pharm D. Still no one understand & gets me. Still do too much for my family . This year became 50, and DT2 as well due to reduced mobility . My cortisol has been x20 normal levels and that makes it difficult to lose belly fat. If I could live in deserted island, with no responsibilities and no one to expect too much of me, I would feel better. I am never pain free even with fentanyl patches, SSRIs etc .

I get chronic fatigue with my fibromyalgia. My chronic fatigue is so bad that it feels like I am drunk even though I do not drink alcohol. I also have poor co-ordination, balance and poor motor skills which means that I am always bumping into things, dropping small and large items. I have all the symptoms of dyspraxia but I cannot afford to pay for a private dyspraxia diagnosis and it is very hard to get an appointment to see the GP as it takes over a month. I have a long letter with all my symptoms but there is no email address for me to send it by post as my GP surgery doctors come from a different practise where the admin staff.

What helped me the most was a teaspoon a day of nettle seeds. It only took it a few days to eliminate the constant drained feeling. Then I just do this as needed about 3 times a week. I take in in the morning as taking it at night affected my sleep. I mix it with yogurt or any food as the seeds are so small to take otherwise. I harvest my own seeds or one can order them on line.

I think I'm feeling fatigue lately which is why I'm here. I think it was caused by my extreme anxiety lately and the panic attacks. I'm just so tired and feel like there's a weight on my chest but too anxious to sleep. Ugh this is terrible. I feel for all of you who suffer with this.

14 months ago I suffered horrifying trauma. Ever since then I have been exhausted physically and mentally . I feel dizzy when standing up, heart races laying down, my dark circles are massive, when I do go to work I come back with headaches and I have pain down to my bones even behind my eyes my anxiety and ptsd then go into over drive.
I had anemia blood test and it was normal I'm starting to think I might have chronic fatigue :(
