I looked of the conservation efforts and the results were a little depressing in that there isn’t much about it. They’re doing some sustainable farming, trying new environments, but considering it’s importance to SE Asia I expected to see more, like a multi-national effort. Alas, the efforts are spotty.

I have concentrated oud oil, it cost me 1000£ per 5ml..and it smells like shit, but when being applied to skin, the smell majestic..it last for a week lol.

I could go on and tell you how western people are still living and buying second hand products sold by venician traders who had connections with Indian traders in ancient india. Everything emerged during the Spice Trade which the white man is still so enchanted
