Great video! Thanks!
The moisture and oil builds up acid in the system! That is why we want to remove all the moisture!

When you pull vacuum you should only hook up one side with your setup and put your vacuum gauge on the other side of the system. You want your vacuum gauge as far away from the pump as possible in order to get a true reading. You can test this with your setup by pulling a vacuum and then valving off the pump from the core removal tube and you'll see the microns instantly jump up quite a bit.

The hose holding ports move on my Testo 557. The outer ports should twist if needed.

Only thing I do different is close off the manifold for leak test. Reason being if you have a O - ring going bad in one of the hoses it will show a leak, then your running around trying to find a leak that don't exist. Also make sure you blow off any refrigerant in the lines especially when it's cold you can damage the gauges. Nice set up.

You want to leave the high and low side on your manifold closed when doing a leak test. The sensor still reads the pressures with them closed and leaving them open just gives you two more possible leak points.

Thanks! It's great video! But on 4:10 just turn this port left or right) with regards Alex Engineer)

Nice share. I have 557, before the better readout you have. Mine is ok, but would rather your readout.
I got a de walt stackable case for mine. Better fit then original case.
I love that that are seriously waterproof.
I DO NOT LIKE THAT THE PORTS ARE SO CLOSE.

I appreciate your video and am looking for more. Would you please make a detailed tutorial on connecting and purging your hoses with the testo four port manifold?

That kit comes with everything in it that I see. I got a guy selling me one for 270 bucks new unused

You want to avoid pulling a vacuum from your gauges and also the micron gauge should be at the farthest point from the vacuum to read a true vacuum

Thanks for the demo, I’m looking to buy this set 😍 the one I’ve seen doesn’t have the centre sight glass in the manifold, does this matter? Only buying for mini split use and for a few cars as have my eye on some adapters for the different refrigerant. Total newbie at this, but buying lots of different sensors and manifold gauges comes out to more than this in kit form and this is way better, have stuck my name down for F gas training. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
