Scrap Dental Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium First Melt

This is a typical dental office scrap lot that has been mixed with flux, placed into a carbon/graphite crucible, and then placed in an induction furnace. An electro-magnetic field is created around the crucible and the metal molecules in the scrap and the crucible are excited and heated. After several minutes, depending on volume of scrap, the material is poured into a cone mold to separate the metal from non-metal.

Hey so u have to start with the metal that melts the hottest and work your way down, Gold melts at a temperature of 1064 degrees while silver melts at 961.8 degrees platinum is 3200 so melt platinum first work ur way down in temp and maybe add a bit of brass remove a bit of platinum and what ever is removed add the weight in brass
