A few years ago Basic Grey put out a punch set, and there is a slot punch in that set. It does work, but I have to say that I don't think that it's as easy to get straight like the dies, because you can use a T square to make sure the slots are straight. But, if you have this punch set, and want to see if this is a type of card that you may want to make more than once or twice, definitely give it a try. Personally, I've put the dies on my list of wants.

ON the second card where you used double sided adhesive instead of staples, it might help to take marker and color the tape so it's easier to see.

Very nice, I also seldom make A2 cards, I usually make A7 and A6. Sometimes even larger ones. If I purchase a greeting card, it would never be a n A2 card. Hallmark cards are always large.
