I needed help hanging drywall so I asked about hiring someone to help. They wanted 300 per & lunch. I went on offer up, bought a drywall lift for $50 & did the entire job alone. Didn't even have to buy the lift lunch.

You are under charging for your work. If you can find someone foolish enough to pay $500 an hour for that, why not go ahead and charge $800? $1, 300? $2, 100? The sky is the limit!

I pay $80 per sheet which includes installing, taping, mud, and sanding. It may vary from state to state but $500 is definitely scam. This is the reason why you should not hire a tile guy to do drywall. They will rip you off.

I built a house mostly by my self and this was a very useful tool when I hung the ceiling drywall. Nobody gave me anything per hour, I didn't either. A great tool.
