Regenerating Hearing with Stem Cells | Hearing Well

Did you know that birds can regenerate their hearing capabilities in nature? Drawing inspiration from this amazing feat, Saaim Khan, a junior at Harvard University who experienced sudden sensorineural hearing loss when he was four years old, is currently researching how stem cells can be used to remedy hearing loss. Without any answers as to what caused his hearing loss, Saaim’s curiosity around that question transformed into a drive to find a way to regenerate hearing after loss in humans. He’s currently studying human developmental and regenerative biology in pursuit of this goal!

My second cousin lost her hearing after falling down the stairs. She was completely deaf. Later as an adult she had a chiropracor agustment and regained her function. She could not handle the sounds and asked for the procedure to be reversed. She continued her life without sound.

Love that in the late 90’s-early 2000’s there was a big hubbub about not doin research into stem cells because they were coming from fetuses. They don’t even need em form those sources anymore. Glad they got over that. Now look at all the true miracles that come from it. Doin gods work threw science 😅

Bhramari pranayam would heal his hearing. If you already have great ears you'll begin to hear subtle sounds and distant music that feels perceived by spirit not body. You can tell that these sounds aren't within mind like singing along to a song nor are they perceived like normal sounds, they're also of different character to run of the mill auditory hallucinations; they're their own seperate thing and a possibility that exist within each of us. This world is weird.
