Pro Tip: Popol is, in fact, the strongest marksman at level 1. He might even be the strongest gold laner at level 1 unless the enemy brings something outlandish like gold Dyrroth. He's even stronger than Harith or Karrie.

This is because of his poking skill, his skill 1, has deceptively high base damage AND it's almost impossible to punish. The second part of this skill, Kupa's 3 bites, is the main source of the damage and while this is happening, Popol could already be well out of your range. Popol is like Lesley in poking regard in that their animation is very fast, but Popol has even higher early damage compared to Lesley. Even a very mobile marksman like Claude or Wanwan will find it hard to pressure Popol because reaching him means taking bites from Kupa. And in early game every trade is important. Especially if it comes from Kupa who can regenerate his HP out of combat

i use same build, sprint spell and Basic common emblem, I experience basic common emblem more powerful, , Assasin and marksman emblem makes me feel popol a lot vulnerable !!! Emblem set agility, and defence on lower than 50% hp and quantum charge. . I am all set to dominate game with this.
