As a player that actually started out on Last gen first then switching to next gen, it personally hurts my soul to hear that the old gen of GTA Online shutting down. All of the good memories of Modders dropping random money on me, doing Rooftop Rumble for days and just generally having dumb fun, are all gonna be gone.

Who remembers the Rockets vs Insurgents game mode? That’s the best game mode ever created in my opinion. Full lobby every time I join!

I remember playing gta 5 on the 360 and always doing the prologue and never advancing in the story. It never got old

My character from old gen was never transferred over, I wonder how my old character feels. Happy because they will be able to taste the sweet embrace of "death"? Or will they be happy now that they are free from the torture of old gen? My newer character has to deal with Syria simulator everyday, but my old gen character is just resting, watching the sun on the horizon as the get old.

Thanks to all the modders, friends, and genuinely nice people from old gen, it was truly a pleasure to play with you.
