Humanist Celebrants and Secular Life-Cycle Celebrations

An increasing number of people are identifying as non-religious or secular, and need to be able to celebrate life’s milestones with meaningful, secular ceremonies and rituals. This presentation will outline a brief description of the Humanist Society and its functions, the process of Celebrant and Chaplain endorsements, and will give an overview of a variety of secular life-cycle celebrations including Baby Welcomings, End of Life Celebrations, and Transgender Naming Ceremonies.
