I haven't seen Deandre in a while, but his story left me wondering how many good people do time and have absolutely nothing after returning to the outside world. I had a great time getting to know Deandre. Something tells me I will see him again soon.

Is there a gofund me for this guy or anything? I wanna help this man get an apartment and a job. I don’t personally have the best paying job, I’m 23 and I’m supposed to be saving for a new car, but helping out people like this guy seems way more important to me.

I will starve if it means I get to help somebody like this guy. I don’t know what it feels like to be completely alone in this world, I can’t imagine. Such a kind soul.

I have been helpless, homeless, and hungry. I was a foster kid, ward of the state of Massachusetts til I was 18. Emancipated since 15. I am now 53 and gave my life to God to serve His flock since He always watched over me. I love you Nate. When you say their names I always pray for them. I am in grad school to get my Licensed Mental Health Counselor degree. So I don't have much paying for school since the govt...well you know.But, here is a little to help the cause. Many years ago I used to be homeless no drinking and no drugs it was closed because of a divorce I now live off grid in Northern Ontario Canada mortgage free and doing well you are doing so great with the homeless people God bless you sir

If this man was in Canada, I'd literlly give him my spare room, and help him get back on his feet.
I'm struggle too, but I always help when it's possible.

Due to health issues & no one to help me, I went months without a shower or washing my hair. It's embarrassing. Thankfully, I got some home health assistance after being hospitalized & I got help to shower & wash my hair. Yippee!

People dont understand that no body would hire homeless people cause they aren't "looking good" for the job, more people should help them look presentable for a job interview, even for McDonald's so they could try to start their life again
