The mv does reflects some of their hardships:
SinB - dislocated shoulders (wings)
Yuju - broken/injured hand
Eunha - eye infection
Yerin - injured knee
Umji - being called ugly (moon)
Sowon - being a leader/mother

The mv story is pretty deep.. it's about their struggles through their debut and until now and receiving supports from the other members.. it's like they were heeling and comforting each other..
Sowon lost father
Yerin leg injury (the one with the glitters)
Eunha's eye infection you'll notice she has different eye color
Yuju's arm injury (the one with the tattoo)
SinB dislocated shoulder (the angel wings)
Umji being questioned about her beauty, she received a lot of hate during their debut calling her fat and ugly that she used to cover her face.. I think she was trying to reach the moon as (beauty standards) to lose weight to look perfect for her fans and that's why she was drawing the moon..

Gfriend isn't just only into vocals
but a total package group who makes difficult and complex dance but stable voice

Gfriend's Memory is one of their MVs where I actually prefer over their dance version because how beautifully it's filmed and the message behind it. This is a Japanese song they released. The way to watch this video is to understand that these girls showed up in the MV in two different universe, one in reality and another in their sleeping/dreaming state - you can see each one fall asleep early in the MV. Besides their dance segments, they were two different outfits in the MV, one for each universe. There are different interpretations on what they meant but it's clear that each one is missing/desiring for something:
Sowon - oragami crane
Yuju - constellation
Umji - moon
Yerin - magical glitter
SinB - wings
Eunha - different colored eyes


The MV went on to show how each girl gets helps from another for their wish in her dream:
Sowon - SinB holding oragami crane
Yuju - Umji drawing the constellation on her arm
Umji - Sowon embracing her as she held the moon-shaped pillow
Yerin - Yuju blowing the magical dust
SinB - Eunha spreading feathers
Eunha - Yerin placing a flower on her eye


Upon waking up each girl, remembering the help from each other (therefore Memoria), all ran to the rooftop to meet each other. The connection is revealed in backlash. It's not easy to grasp all these upon first watch. Ultimately, it's about the sisterhood among them in this song.

This film is about the history of their debut.
SinB’s back has been dislocated.
Yuju's hand was injured when the Navillera album was released.
Eunha's eyes often get conjunctivitis when the needle eye is active during the activity.
Yerin's knee was hurt when the Fingertip album was released.
Sowon's paper crane symbolizes the death of his father.
Umji suffered a lot of insults when he first debuted, so although the moon looks beautiful, but it’s actually a pothole.

The Other Theory of Memoria

Is about a six girl friends who lost their memories every time their fallen asleep as we can see at the first seconds of the they keep on helping each other remember everything by giving each others like mini clues and it's like a cycle Eunha the one with different eye color is helping Sinb to remember that she is a fallen angel, and sinb helping sowon to remember that she's the one make those swan origami which symbolize as Wish (In japanese if you make 100 or 1 jar full of paper swan you can make a wish), and Sowon help Umji to remember that she's a magical painter that makes her work become alive, then Umji helps Yuju to remember that she's an oracle that using stars to predict their future, and Yuju helping Yerin to remember she's a gorgeous Siren and ofcourse lastly Yerin help Eunha to remember that she was given a power to see paranormal things or seeing things that can't seen by naked eye like ghost or angels thats why she manage to help Sinb even though Sinb is an angel and then so on and so forth ✨ Hope it help
