This would have to be one of the best sliders I've tested and it's the YC Onion Hot Dog 3.0 motorized camera slider. It uses the YC Onion BUN motorized camera slider module to get that buttery smooth motorized movement and honestly it's pretty amazing. PLUS you can attach a gimbal onto it and control the gimbal with the YC Onion app as well.

Thanks for taking the time to create this in depth video. I'm in the market for a motorised parallax slider. I've owned one of the generic and non-motirised versions of this slider before and the thing fell apart on me while over seas. Did you have any trouble with the baseplate on the carriage slipping? Also, does the timelapse mode stop the slider before each shutter release, so that it's possible to do long exposure hyperlapses?

Thanks for sharing. I am torn between this slider and the iFootage Nano. The payload capacity of the Onion is quite impressive, though maximum speed is a little slow. And on the other hand the iFootage Nano is by far the most portable and convenient, but the payload capacity is borderline. My reality is, if it is small enough to fit in my rucksack it will get used:-)
