At InterSolar, trendwatcher Vincent Everts interviews Frank Bakker from SolarEdge, he asks him the question: What’s New? In this interview you will see all the innovations at SolarEdge regarding the SolarEdge Home concept.

About SolarEdge:
Established in 2006, #SolarEdge developed the DC optimized inverter solution that changed the way power is harvested and managed in photovoltaic (PV) systems. The SolarEdge intelligent inverter solution maximizes power generation while lowering the cost of energy produced by the PV system, for improved RoI.

Roof is 22 kw ..and we need a battery bis 15kw ..solar edge hub inverter is max 10kw..how we Will connect another one ..that can charge battery same..we have a 3 strings and sun orientation is not the same.
Thanks

So when you are in Europe and referring to single phase are you referring to a single 220v line coming to the home? As opposed to in the US when we say single phase and we have two 120v lines running to the home 180 deg out of phase making 240?

1:50 "I really want to get my hands on that interface, because it's getting better all the time". BS, I'd just like to have the interface for the hub inverter give correct production numbers.

I had solar edge installed in 2019 it worked for 1 1/2 years, it's now 2023 an I also have the 25 year full warranty they sent 11, technicians who did not fix the problem, I'm still with out power from system, an using generator, they refuse to honor warranty.

Why is there no three-phase hybrid inverter that can work with high-voltage batteries such as the LG Chem Resu Prime 10H? Is there a technical limitation prohibiting to create such an inverter?

I mean, what's the point of having the battery DC-side, if you still need a lossy DC-DC conversion to the low-voltage battery here presented? And then both inverter and battery can only discharge at 5kW, which is rather limiting.

By the way, that EV charger is a joke. It's a OEM Keba EV charger from a previous generation which is why it is so big and ugly.
