RAF Atlas airdrops food into Gaza

The Royal Air Force has airdropped more than 10-tonnes of food into Gaza for the first time.

The aid, which is made up of water, rice, cooking oil, flour, tinned goods and baby formula, was delivered by an A400M aircraft.

Flying from Amman, Jordan, the Atlas aircraft travelled along the northern coastline of Gaza as part of a Jordanian-led international aid mission.

Delivered with precision. The RAF make something so complicated look straight forward. Noticing as the soldiers make sure the U.K. food crates and their parachutes are safely deployed from the plane while making sure they are all tied to harnesses to prevent them falling out of the plane as well. ✌️ 🇬🇧

10 tons of aid is 10, 000, 000 grams of aid. Which is for 2, 300, 000 people.

So basically on average 4 grams of aid per person.

Also consider the lorries carry 20 tons of aid each and before 7th October Gaza needed almost 500 lorries of aid per day, and aid agencies were complaining that wasn't enough. And that 500 lorries didn't include water because the water supply was still on before 7th October.
