Oh. Peter Dinklage just nails it on the head with his portrayal of Tyrion. Every facial expression he gives in this season is so expressive of what Tyrion's feeling inside. The "your joy will turn to ashes" line feels so deadly powerful as he said it.

The scene between Theon and his sister was brillant

What superb acting. Tyrion is my favorite character and to see him brought to life so beautifully is so amazing.

I truly enjoy these Inside The Episode by Dan and David. It shows how much they truly know these characters inside out. I am truly thankful they have decided to put more spotlight time at Robb. He is my favorite non POV character in the books. Many, many thumbs up!

I read the first and the second book, and I'm not annoyed at all :) The changes in the scenes of John and Igrite, Arya and Tywin, Sansa and the Hound etc - are great!!

As far as character insight goes (from someone who's read all the books) I think this was one of the best episodes so far. It really shows what each of them are like and how their minds work. Plus there was no fighting because it's the "calm before the storm", when it all kicks off in the battle next episode.

Well think of it like this, season 2 of game of thrones is mainly a build up for the events that will happen in season 3 so i dont see why people are complaining even though its missing a lot of things from the book, its a show and they dont want to confuse new fans with multiple character plots, but the show is still fantastic

This was seriously the best episode this far. It had some emotional stuff and they gave the TV viewers an insight to this world.

10/10

You know the books are amazing, but I'm glad there's been changes. It keeps me guessing at what might come next, it lets characters who wouldn't otherwise interact have some interesting scenes together and it stops some characters from having nothing to do all series. Talisa is there so Robb can have some extra characterisation which is lacking in the books because there he (like all of the kings) isn't a main character, so I think it's a worthwhile addition.

'a day will come where you will think you are safe and happy, and your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth, and you will know the debt is paid'. best line of the series so far... great episode this week, finally i realise why they changed the jon snow storyline, it follows the book better after this episode

Oh Theon...

I know exactly what happens.

I know how inevitable it is.

But it doesn't make me stop wishing it would change.

I'm glad they're focusing on Robb the impact of his character later will be better than without it.

Anyone notice that when Catelyn is talking to an angry family member she is soft spoken but she deepens her tone of voice when talking to other angry people like the guy who lost his son to Jaime?

Read through the books twice now. The way i view the series and any other book to film adaption is that its the story being told two universes over. Different but is taking you to the same final destinations.

The other view is that its an absolute treat to read books after watching the film adaption and getting so much more out of it than what can be packed into a movie or even a series as in the case of this epic and long story.

Dont get so mad if character development is different.

reading the books after watching all the actors put faces on the characters from the books, and makes it so much more enjoyable, both books and series :)

also, yeah jon and arya's story resolutions this season so far have been overlooked (they might still make up for it, but with dany, she didn't have much to do in clash of kings, so im glad they've put in the whole dragon stealing plot, and and gives a good reason to go to the house of the undying, although the writers are taking their sweet time with getting to it

I wished there was more about Daenerys in this season. Her story captivates me the most.
