“Highly impressed…” India’s ‘Prachand’ Light Combat Helicopter showstopper in joint exercises

In a big boost to IAF’s combat prowess, Prachand Light Combat Helicopter has started participating in joint war games. LCH “Prachand” was inducted into the Air Force on October 3, 2023. The Indigenous choppers are being flown extensively in the desert sector and performing very well. The combat helicopter comes with a 70 mm rocket pod as well as a 20 mm gun canon.

For anyone who doubts Prachand's potential... It's a light combat helicopter developed for infantry ground support in all kinds of terrains especially high altitude operation in the Himalayas. Only some brainless civilians would compare one aircraft to another. Every aircraft is engineered to fill a specific role in which that aircraft would shine more than the others....Please realize this. One more thing, the USSR's MIG 21 of Indian Airforce looked very old, in fact ancient .. but they did knock down an f-16 falcon down from the sky. I don't need to remind you which country's f-16 it was.

It could be the thinnest attack helicopter out there. It is barely wider than the pilot's seat and looks very slim from the front. Very aerodynamic and light. Hal should try to develop a super stealth attack helicopter from its design.
