Former Astoria native here. born and bred. Left some time ago in my 30s to pursue different work opportunities and family life. Great video, love the history. Of course as a knuckle headed kid growing up there history was never a thought lol. I have seen other videos and was so surprised to see how the Ditmars area has changed as i spent my childhood in that pizza palace on the corner of Ditmars and 31st Street. Again, awesome watch.
