Great chat and thank you Larry and Kay. It is so important to be having these conversations, especially with the younger generations coming up(I’m 56). Maybe they didn’t study world history in school, and have no or a skewed knowledge of communism, socialism, or Marxism. Due to the political rhetoric, they’ve been brainwashed to believe, they are oppressed, and need change, and would even look towards communism for that change, without really understanding the destruction within, even to themselves. They have no idea what oppression is. They should move to China, North Korea, or maybe even India for a year, and then let us know how oppressed they really were in America.

I lived in Britain a few years in the 90s and my in laws were Brits. I’m an American Southerner, also 30 years in Texas. I’ve tried to explain the “envy culture” to American friends, hadn’t hit on those words, but that is what it is - no one gets a bigger piece of the pie than anyone else, and everyone is SUSPICIOUS of everyone else due to that. We American expats could be spotted in any group - not only our ready smiles and beautiful teeth, but our generosity and friendliness. It’s painful to me that there are people hard at work to kill the America we know and love. From within!

My grandmother had scrapbooks full of pictures of Jewish people that died in concentration camps were piled up like cordwood. I am 83 and I have never forgotten those pictures.

Thank you for going the distance on this, Mr Taunton. Mrs Rubacek is a brave, conscientious soul. I found the book at random on the shelf at the library. It is a most powerful read, and I cannot stop reccomending it to people. You may find it interesting to know it was shelved in the section reserved for nonfiction criminology and crime history.

This phrase Two layers of skin, so true so profound, For me it's something that I feel I'm doing more and more to avoid conflict with people I encounter. I live in Western Canada where speaking out is starting to be risky. I still can speak out, but push back has increased. Comunism isn't just an ideoligy it is a tactic, a very sneaky creeping tactic. We in the west should be terrifed but we are not, instead we are sleep walking toward it.We are being decieved into trading safety that isn't safe and sustainabllity that isn't sustainable for our freedoms and liberties. We are so screwed.

This information is so important and the entire population should hear it. It is only less important than the message of the Gospel and salvation through Jesus Christ, whom God sent to save us from hell.

Another eye opening presentation especially considering the democratic party's pick for VP. Do keep them coming.

As a Marxist until age 30 (in 1979), a belief for us was that a lie was never a lie if it advanced our truth. Or as the buzz word on universities today is “my truth.”

I remember Australia was friendly and very helpful fifty years ago.
I wonder why they have changed.
Some areas of America are friendlier than other areas.

I was so naive when I went to Egypt when I was 22. I had no reality on this culture and was touched and grabbed inappropriately the entire time.

A few older books to read…

He Leadth Me : by Walter Cizek
Cizek was a prisoner in the Russian gulag.
An amazing testimony of God’s faithfulness to a believer.

The Sky is Red
When Iron Gates Yield
God Holds the Key

Bull as a prisoner within a communist Chinese prison during the early years of the Communist Chinese revolution.
Bull was a missionary in Tibet when the Communists took over. He was taken from Tibet to a chinese prison.

A beautiful story of God leading him to Tibet and of his experiences as a young man learning the language and the culture.
Sadly, he left the communist chinese prison a broken man. It took him years to recover.

Peter Schweitzer has raised the question - wasn’t Tim Walz in the National Guard some (or all?) of the years he was visiting China 30x? There’s no problem there?
