Hey everyone, it’s pretty clear that many people are misunderstanding our statement about teeny boppers. At no point did we say that we think all of BTS’s fan base were teeny boppers or little girls. We ourselves enjoy their music and we are far from that category. Cynthia said teeny boppers and little girls in reference to how she herself used to act as a teenager when *NSYNC or Justin Timberlake would come on TV. It seemed like an obvious comparison to myself when we were speaking about it since I loved and still love *NSYNC as well.

So, if you find yourself feeling like we are referring to you as a teeny bopper, we encourage you to take an objective step back and enjoy these artists as a community.

First of all, BTS have the biggest fanbase regarding age, gender, ethnicity and skin color. People should stop generalizing and stereotyping that the ARMY fandom is all made up of teenage girls, or of a certain specific group.Many people say that BTS became famous only because of their visuals, powerful fandom and suddenly their name became world famous, while no one asks why we support BTS and why they deserve it. Sure, they’re attractive, and fans go crazy for them but their music, their personality, their life message and experiences make me connect to them.

we love bts because of the message they send through their songs. majority of artist write about romantic songs, or just bubblegum pop tune, but bts write songs about subjects like - mental health, anxiety, depression, cyber bully, women empowerment, self love. and many more. i mean just think about any artist whose majority of discography sounds like this. you will hardly founds romantic songs in their album. 80% of their discography is about topics which no one talks about in our society and that is the reason why bts have more mature and 25+ age fans. their lyrics are so relatable to people even at age 50. its just the name boyband joined with them makes the non fans think that bts fandom is madeup of crazy teenage fangirls. i have been their fans since 6 years and i have seen majority of peole in this fandom old enough to spend their money on bts. not their parents money.

The 7 of them started off in a poor bankrupt company back then. Their work ethic is amazing, theyre so humble and intelligent. All the members contribute to songwriting, composing and producing. They always talk about growing and improving despite breaking so many records. All their previous albums deals with mental health, self love, self improvement, philosphy, art, literature and make social commentary. They are intelligent and their brotherhood is beyond wholesome. I love how supportive of each other they are and I love how they dont take themselves seriously. The leader of the group has an IQ of 148 and taught himself english by watching friends. His stage name is RM.
Jimin-top contemporary dance student at his dance school, has a black belt in martial arts
jungkook- main vocalist, good at everything
V- vocalist, photographer, new to composing music
Jin- university graduate in performing arts, graduate in 2017 while being in BTS, new to composing music
Suga- rapper, songwriter, composer and producer. Won an award in korea for producing another artist's song.
J-hope- top street dancer, producer, songwriter
In 2019, the group scored their third  one with Map of the Soul: Persona,   sixth extended play, on the US Billboard 200 making them the first group since the Beatles in 1996 to have  3 number one albums  in less than a year.
BTS went through a lot of hardships to get where they are. They faced a lot of rejection even in their own country. Even after breaking out to mainstream western world, they still faced soooo many struggles. This is further explained by the channel celestex video called BTS from nobodies to legends and bts contribution to music.
You have no idea how funny, humble and hardworking they are. Theyre so hardworking to the point they pass out and need oxygen tanks during the backstage of a lot of their performances

Back when they first debuted, one of the members lied about being in a car accident because he thought he wouldnt be able to be with the group and perform. He only got his fixed last year. He was delivering food in the rain. He worked a lot of part time jobs to make ends meet.

They are very versitile and NEVER STICK to ONE GENRE. They can make catchy bops, to hardcore hip pop, to jazzy vibes, to deep emotional songs to songs that just heals your soul lyrically and melodically.

BTS stands for Beyond the Scene, started off as an acronym for “Bangtan Sonyeondan, ” which translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts, ” and means to “block out stereotypes, criticisms and expectations, ”

They also all have solo songs, songs with two or three members.

I haven't yet watched the video but came first to the comment section. I don't know what's up with the comments but I'm 24 years old and my mom is 57 and we are a great fan of them. I'm a fan since 2013 so basically I grew up listening and admiring them. My mom got into them last year (pandemic). Most of my coworkers are also a fan of them. So yeah, we're not all teens and such. Still, thanks for giving them a shot.

I understand what you mean . And same as other ARMY who is very passionate on every comments on reactors towards BTS especially the ARMY'S WHO FOLLOW THEM SINCE BEFORE DEBUT. THEY SUFFER SO MUCH, PEOPLE LOOKDOWN ON THE BOYS AND MOCK THEM .
