Broadway is the longest street (avenue) in Manhattan. This trip drives on its Downtown (Lower Manhattan) part, i,e. from 14th St. near Union Square to its southern end at Battery Pl. in Financial District.
It was recorded on August 1st, 2020 when New York City was in phase 4 reopening after the lockdown during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. At the time, most part of Broadway in Middletown Manhattan (including the Theater District where it's known for) has been converted to pedestrian-only open streets to help with social distancing for walking and outside dining.
