How to Reset Photoshop Preferences File

( for windows users) If you can't find any Photoshop file inside Adobe file, try to find it in C disk. Cdisk > Program files > Adobe Photoshop CS6 > Data > Settings file. As she said move that file to your desktop.And you're done!

Thank you so much for this: you explain everything so clearly. No one else mentions the vital fact that you have to slam Ctrl Alt Shift down at the precise point when Photoshop is starting to open. It is probably obvious to a professional, but not to an amateur like me. I can clone again!

It's crazy because I did the Ctrl+Alt+Shift method and I thought it would delete my own settings, (space work, keyboard shortcuts, brushes, etc.), but it didn't! So I just selected my space work and bamm, there was everything again!
