My great-grandparents came to America from Palermo back in the 1930s and settled in Brooklyn. This was my first time visiting Sicily and it was truly incredible. So different than any part of Italy that I've been. Great food and such a beautiful place!

It is not a surprise since the first gastronomy writer was Miteco Siculo (meaning Miteco the Sicilian) who, in the second half of the 5th century BC, made the Sicilian cuisine known in Greece: working also in Sparta and Athens. 😄👋🏻 PS: you cannot buy class...😉
