Driving through Merimbula, New South Wales, Australia

Merimbula is derived from a local Aboriginal word meaning ‘two lakes’, a reference to Merimbula Lake on the southern side of the town and the smaller Back Lake on the northern side.

Merimbula /məˈrɪmbjələ/ is a town on the Merimbula Lake, located on the Far South Coast or Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, Australia. At the 2016 census, the population was 3,544.

We stayed at the Pelican Motel in March this year (2023). Had a great few days, my favourite place to chill was actually in Eden at the Hotel Australasia. Don't expect to ever see it again so loved the video, memories came flooding back.
