Doss SoundBox Color Review

This is DOSS's latest BT speaker. They have a great reputation after producing the Soundbox last year. On paper they are both the same in terms of power. Dual 6 watt speakers. But the sound signature is different. This speaker has passive subwoofers. Meaning it will take energy away from the active speakers to extend the bass. So you are sacrificing the mids for the lows, giving a smiley face equaliser pattern common in speakers targeted for bass lovers. The sound quality is great - no distortion at the highest volumes and it can fill a room 4m x 7m without issues.
