I was frustrated that Simon still didn't get what would happen, but I think if I was in that situation I would act the same only because I would hold on to hope that this time it could work out for me. Which maybe that's what he was feeling too, though I don't know.

 I guess that's the nature of some people. Hoping for something else even when the outcome is inevitable.

The "first ending" absolutely crushed me, especially if you paid attention to all of the information and backstory you could find throughout the game and understood what they were asking you to think about. And along with this haunting melody as the credits rolled, it actually gave me goosebumps. I wish the scene after the credits was cut, as it felt a little too it-will-all-be-ok-ish. This game stuck with me for days after I finished it, not to mention it had some of the most pulse-pounding moments I've experienced since the first Dead Space. Like when you're walking through the Abyss - holy shit were my palms sweating.

this game honestly had me questioning everything, existence, humanity, and what it means to be human. i didnt think it was possible to be this moved by a game, im honestly surprised no movie or book has tried to tackle this at any point, but man i feel like this is a game that everyone should experience.

the ending was so brilliantly done, the fact that we spend the whole game knowing about the digital copies that get left behind, but we never truly think about them, because we only ever experienced the copies that got to go on, but then the game completely flips the script and makes us witness the copy from the perspective of the one left behind, we finally get an idea of what they feel, fear and lonliness, what a powerful game 10/10
