I have been a Cerec user since April 2001. I place my own surgical implants and restore them with the Cerec system. I utilize Emax CAD one-piece design in posterior and two-piece multilayered designs in the anterior because of the screw access coming on the facial. However, the posterior aesthetics are limited by the LT blocks. I to use the Miyo system to decrease the value and boost the aesthetics.
I noticed you split your posterior implants and utilize probably an HT block for better aesthetics and then I see from the posterior radiograph that you Cement them and then modify them to become a screw-retained implant restoration. It is also easier to place a two piece system rather than a one piece if there is a undercut or challenge with the line of draw. In addition, you have the control to remove the restoration and polish that margin which leaves no cement around the gingival tissue which will reduce Periimplantitis. Very clever

Do you offer an online course because I’m in Florida and I know you were on the West Coast. I certainly would like to know some more tricks... and editing to improve the abutment to sign in the anterior area.. i’ve been a past member of your website instruction. Thanks

Thank you for the tips. I’ve been a Cerec user since April 2000 and have gone through many software updates and place surgical implants and restore them with the system. I noticed in your presentation that you utilize the multi layer restoration in the posterior area. My preference is screw-retained restorations in the posterior area and multi layer in the anterior area because of the access proposal out the facial. However, aesthetics suffer because of the LT block in the posterior area and I utilize the Miyo System to reduce value and improve aesthetics. I see from the radiograph that you multi layer your posterior restorations do you utilize the HT block? I also see you modify it to become a screw retained piece which is very clever so that you can clean the restoration outside the mouth and reduce the chance of. residual cement and periimplantitis.
I used to be a member of your instructional website and wonder if you still provide videos on abutments and implant restorations. I am in Florida and you were on the West Coast so travel is a challenge. Thank you

Thank you for your video. Would you please let us know how you connect the zirconia to Emax layer? Are they cemented? Or do use Emax Crystal/connect to fuse them together?
