I have to admit I did not see the practical value of Periscope UNTIL this weekend when the Craft and Hobby Association was going on, it was so fun to see the live scopes from CHA and savvy vendors scoped from their booths (demos on new product showcases) so not only were they able to sell to the craft store buyers at the show they got all of their fans and customers excited for the new products too. some of the scopes left me dizzy but my friend melody lane used a gimbal for her phone so the scopes were smooth and easy to watch. It was like being there and I followed enough people that I got a good feel for the show. I must say that I prefer the youtube coverage but that real time coverage had me glued to the phone, I think the "Limited time only" scarcity principle comes into play and makes us look LOL! I have a couple upcoming trips for work that I might try and periscope from. From a leveraging standpoint this could be big for influencer marketing. I finally get why this is something to pay attention to!

I had my 2nd periscope the other day and it was meh. lol. I actually made a periscope immediately after that titled "don't make these periscope mistakes" pointing out and poking fun at the mistakes I had just made and it had a better turn out, retention, and interaction.
