Record Smashing: What Is The Longest Airbus A380 Flight?

The Airbus A380 is the largest commercial passenger aircraft ever built. While the jet is designed for long-haul operations, it’s not as well known for its range when compared to efficient twinjets like the Boeing 787-8, Boeing 777-200LR, and Airbus A350-900ULR. Despite this, the aircraft type still manages to connect some impressive city pairs- even now when travel demand is relatively weak. In this video, let’s look at the Airbus A380’s longest flights.

My wife and I flew to New Zealand back in 2018. We flew with Emirates from Glasgow to Dubai. Then a short layover, then onto Auckland, 16 hours later we were in Auckland. We flew for a total of 24 hrs, but it was all worth it.

I actually took the Emirates A380 from Dubai to Auckland. Back then, I didnt even realize that it was the longest service with that type. It was an awesome experience!

Good old times before Covid :((

as long as the 380 operators are still alive there is a hope for innovation for the 380 as its well-known glory and title

I can't imagine anything above 10hrs. The longest I've flown was 8:30hrs and I was already going insane and I'm supposed to be an aviation enthusiast

I have done the 380 from London-->Dubai-->Perth many times. Not sure about the distances, but Dubai-->Perth is quite long.

CDG to LAX in 11 hours and 40 minutes on Air France. Flew premium economy bulkhead. Wonderful flight and extremely quiet. The walls of the A380 seems to be about a foot wide. Air France left the galley open for passengers to help ourselves to various snacks.

The longest A380 flight I've done was Kuala Lumpur to Heathrow. I paid a mere $30 for an exit row seat with metres of leg room. :)

LHR BKK for me. Upstairs in Thai F for about 12 hours. Probably the best flight I’ve had.

I've flown the A380 with BA from LHR-HKG. It was 11 hours 5 minutes. The cabin was extremely quiet, you could hardly hear the engines if you tried, despite being in economy, I went to sleep east of St Petersburg and woke up over Mongolia. One of the most comfortable flights I've had.

The longest I’ve done was Seoul to Dubai at just over 10 hours. Then a further 8 hours from Dubai to Manchester, landing at 11am on Christmas Day 🎅

It wasn't really a "global health crisis ".
It was more like "trying to act like a hero by imposing ineffective restrictions ".
