One of the early Journey's hardest rocking pieces.

Most people dont even know Journey was a THing before Steve Perry. Here ya got Greg Rolie who just got done singing Santana's greatest songs of all time, ya got Neil Schon doing a Carlos Santana imitation as well as anyone in the world, then ya got Ansley Dunbar too! Whadda else do you want Jimi Hendrix playing backup? C'mon man this stuff Rocks.

Aynsley Dunbar blows my mind. And I say that while listening to one of the great young guitarists in history shredding it.

1:07, Xanadu, 2:00 Mahavishnu Orchestra Birds of Fire., 3:10, the ending of Tom Sawyer. Holy shiiit I never heard this before. Mind blown. They were obviously influenced by MO and now, it appears, Rush was influenced by them.

My favorite Journey album. It borders on heavy metal, but it's also prog. I'm also a big Rush fan. This sounds very Rushish sorta.

Wow, just reading a interview with the bands original manager and he said Rush ripped this song off on Tom Sawyer, and he is right.

They were magnificent in their early days. When they morphed into the band we know today, they lost me.
