A great affordable tripod. The legs are quite sturdy in my opinion. For larger cameras and lenses there is a hook to add extra weight. It has legs that have 3 sections and each leg has the ability to move independently giving the tripod the ability to take macro shots.

it will hold it but it is going to be very very cumbersome to adjust. Also the tightening feature is like an on off switch if you loosen it and let go of your camera it can throw of the balance of the tripod and BAM ur camera is in the ground.

Of the inexpensive tripods out there this one is far and above the rest of the pack. Sure, you can get a cheap Amazon Basics or Vista Explorer (they're identical) for around $20. But those cheap tripods will fight you every inch of the way. They're CHEAP not inexpensive. I've had my Dolica for two years and it's never failed me.

does the 62 in mean when its closed all together, if not what is the height it can reach in ft or inches fully extended? because i want to be able to stand up and record.
